Global Reptile Products For 2011!
Last month, pet industry folk once again descended upon Orlando, Fla., to attend the Global Pet Expo (sorry John Q. Public, you’re not allowed in). Though I personally have limited my attendance at the big industry shows such as Global – you’re more likely to find me at the reptile-specific consumer shows – they remain very important events for the pet world at large. Hundreds of vendors set up their booths to show off their latest wares, hoping to sign up new accounts among the retail representatives and other potential customers hoofing it up and down the many aisles. Hopefully those aisles are carpeted, too, as I remember the way my feet would throb at the end of a long day traipsing the showroom floor, checking out the many interesting products on view, as well as visiting with representatives of the companies that advertise in REPTILES and Aquarium Fish International. The manufacturers of all your favorite reptile products are always among them, too, and it’s always cool to see what new reptile products they’ve developed.
Check out the slideshow of reptile products at Global Pet Expo 2011 below.
Although I didn’t attend the Global Pet Expo this year, one of our editorial directors, Melissa Kauffman, did, and below you’ll find a slideshow of some of the new reptile products Melissa photographed at the show, just so we could include them in this blog. Thanks, Melissa! I hope you find them interesting, and chances are you’ll be able to get your own look at them up close when you start seeing them on the shelves of your local pet stores and at reptile expos beginning in 2011.
