Do you love reptiles so much that you dress your kids up as them for Halloween? How about wearing a herp-inspired costume yourself? Send us pictures of your best herp Halloween costumes, and yours might end up on the pages of REPTILES magazine. Five contestants also win a $50 gift certificate from one of our five sponsors. There’s no trick to it. Just send us your best photo, or multiple photos if you wish, and you could win a treat.

INFANTS • TODDLERS • PRE-TEENS • TEENAGERS • ADULTS

Prizes
Five winners will receive a $50 gift certificate from one of five sponsors.

How to Enter
Find or take your costume photos. Any reptile-related costume is eligible regardless of whether it was worn on Halloween. Costumes can be from any year, including 2009.

Every photo submission must include: your name, your complete address, your daytime phone number and e-mail address, the contest age category, the names of people pictured, and the herp species the costume mimics. You can submit photos through the mail or online.

Mail photos to “Halloween Contest;” REPTILES; P.O. Box 6050; Mission Viejo, CA 92690. They must measure at least 4 inches by 6 inches.

E-mail high-resolution digital images as attachments to reptiles@bowtieinc.com. Type “Halloween Contest” in the subject field. E-mailed images must be saved at 300 dpi, measure at least 3 inches by 5 inches, and be formatted as TIFF or JPEG files.

Due to the number of submissions we normally receive, photos cannot be returned, and they become the property of REPTILES magazine.

Deadline
