Pristimantis macrummendozai. This frog lives in rocky outcrops more than 3,500 meters above sea level.

The frog, Pristimantis macrummendozai was found living in rocky outcrops 3,500 meters high in the Iguaque Merchan nature reserve, according to The City Paper Bogota

The frog is a dark camouflage green in coloration with greenish yellow spotting throughout and of course, those most noticeable eyebrows. According to researchers, the frog has small forelimbs, which enables it to move about more easily in rocky outcrop formations in which it lives.

Researchers with the Instituto Humboldt of Colombia made the discovery of Pristimantis macrummendozai, which brings to eight the number of rain frogs known to live in the Eastern Cordillera mountain range of the country.
