I am researching inclusion body disease (ICB) in reticulated pythons, and I was wondering if it is possible for a retic with IBD to strike a handler, even after developing symptoms such as star-gazing. Thank you.

Inclusion body disease is known to strike pythons and boas.

It really depends on how bad the neurological signs are. In severe cases, these snakes become a neurologic cripple, and I think it would be difficult for them to make a targeted strike.
